TrustName customer files new lawsuit in Verisign’s home court

Oath Research says its domains were lifted from a TrustName account. The company's answer is a lawsuit against the domain itself — in rem — rather than a hunt for the thief.
The new filing lands in Virginia, Verisign's home court. That is not forum shopping for comfort; it is where the registry's presence gives the court power over the asset.
