Sedo weekly domain name sales led by Kmau.com

A quiet week on Sedo, and the ledger tells the same story it always does.

Two sales did the heavy lifting. Kmau.com at $100,000 and SkiResort.com at $80,000. Together they account for the bulk of the week's gravity, and the rest of the list is essentially scenery.

Twenty-six .com sales, twenty-three ccTLD sales, six other TLDs. The volume is healthy, but the headline prices are doing the work of making the week look stronger than the median transaction suggests.

Four-letter .coms in the five-figure range remain the dependable middle class of this market. They clear quietly, they clear often, and they rarely make the top of anyone's newsletter.

The ccTLD count is the part worth watching. Twenty-three sales in a single week means liquidity is no longer a polite theory. Country-code registries have stopped being a curiosity and started behaving like a parallel marketplace.

SkiResort.com at $80,000 is the more interesting of the two leaders. It is a category-defining phrase, not a pronounceable artifact. That is what serious end-user money looks like, and it is why generic .coms continue to anchor the ceiling.

The lesson, as ever, is structural. Brandable four-letter codes trade on scarcity. Real-word generics trade on utility. Both move, but they move for entirely different reasons, and conflating them is how analysts get the story wrong.
