Registered Agents applies for six top level domains, starts RSP
The registrar is moving up the food chain: Registered Agents wants to own the wholesale layer and the plumbing.
Registered Agents Inc., the parent of Epik, has filed for six top-level domains and launched an RSP arm. In one move, it signals intent to be a registry owner and a registry backend vendor.
The RSP play is the quieter part: registry services are recurring-revenue infrastructure. If the TLD applications advance, the company can supply the backend to itself and sell the same machinery to other applicants.
Owning a registrar already gives it direct retail distribution. Owning TLDs and backend services completes the stack — wholesale, infrastructure, and customer-facing access under one roof.
The six applications are the headline; the real leverage is the RSP. Domain investors should watch which strings are applied for, because the applicant's history and use plans will shape how those names reach the market.
